ACC So Far

First thing we read in class is when the ghost stops at a warehouse and Scrooge was an apprentice their. Then Scrooge saw an old person with a welsh wig, and he was sitting behind a big desk, and then Scrooge knew who it was and it was Fezziwig. Then Scrooge young self went out and called his name and they did not have work that day because it was Christmas Eve and on Christmas Eve that would dance and celebrate, also Fezziwig was the best dancer there. Then more dancers came and also Mrs. Fezziwig. Then Mrs. Fezziwig and Mr. Fezziwig dance and they dance very good.

In my opinion I like how Fezziwig is nice, he likes to celebrate, and likes to dance. To me Fezziwig is the opposite of Scrooge now because Scrooge hates christmas and Fezziwigs loves Christmas, Fezziwig is nice to others and Scrooge is mean to others. I like Fezziwig, I think he's one of the nicest persons in the book, so he is my favorite character in the book so far. Scrooge loved Christmas back then because he had people to celebrate with him like his friends at work, not like the past when he was a lone. In my opinion, it looks like Scrooge like him a lot because when he saw him the first time he said nice things to him.

  1. I agree with you, I really like Fezziwig, he is nice to the apprentices, and he pays them well. He is so nice, because he chooses to make lives happier, instead of miserable. However, when Scrooge is given the opportunity to do what is right, to make Bob Cratchit happier, he chooses to make his life miserable instead. Scrooge really looked up to Fezziwig, I thought that with a teacher like him, Scrooge should have been happier and been a happier person, what made him change so much that he turned out the way he is?

  2. Aldo, your summary is a bit short for what we had read. It could be more detailed. You could have mentioned Dick Wilkens, Scrooge's old partner. You could have also mentioned Fan before Fezziwig. Fan was a big part in this trip because it would've probably made a huge emotional impact on Scrooge. However, I do agree with your opinion about Fezziwig. I also think he is the polar opposite of Scrooge. Interesting how Fezziwig is your favorite character so far!

  3. I agree with you, I also like fezziwig. He's a really fun and nice boss towards scrooge and the other workers. He doesn't make their lives hard, but makes it more fun for the workers. He even spends money on parties for all of them could have fun and dance with each other, Especially that fezziwig is the best dancer there he would want to show that off. That also made scrooge question the way he treats Bob cratchit. I do think that this was a good blog post, however you could have added more as well. Overall, Nice job.

  4. I agree with you,I like Fezziwig because he was a nice boss and liked to spend money just so he can have a party with his employees. He treats everyone with respect like Scrooge, but now Scrooge is not showing the same respect to his employees like Fezziwig did to him.Fezziwig treats his employees with kindness and makes their work fun while Scrooge does the opposite. One thing you can improve on is your summary because there wasn't a lot of details and it would better net time if you add more information.Overall you can just improve on your summary and I also agree with Akio that Fezziwig is your favorite character when there isn't a lot of information about him.

  5. Aldo you did a great job in your blog post, I agree with Akio that your summary was a bit short. Yeah you should of added Fan because it was an important family member to Scrooge. I also like Fezziwig because He was a very king boss who made their lives happy and not miserable. He also gave them brake when it was christmas. He did do a very astonishing dance better than everyone else. But I would not call Scrooge a hero yet.

  6. Good job with this blog post. I strongly agree with you that Mr. Fezziwig is very nice because he cares about his apprentices and pay them well. He even throws a party every Christmas to keep everyone happy. Scrooge will then later regret his decisions and feels bad for Bob because he has never done anything good for Bob like how Mr. Fezziwig treated him back then. Scrooge now would say that throwing a party is a waste of money but he realizes back then that Mr. Fezziwig would spend money on him so he regrets his decisions a lot. Overall you had a good understanding of Mr. Fezziwig.

  7. I agree with you as well, Fizziwig is a nice boss to everyone. He chooses to make his wrokers lives fun and he will pay them very well. I do think though, that you could have made your blog a bit more detailed and by doing so you could have added more. It was pretty short, but over all you made a good point in your blog.
