Scrooge and the ghost arrived in a mansion and when they get there they see a little boy and then Scrooge sees that the child his him. Then Scrooge noticed something else he was surprised to see Ali Baba.He tells the ghost a story and it's during christmas time with his brother Orson,he lated spotted a parrot.Scrooge was really happy and he was having the time of his life with all those memories and he began to cry.LAter on we meet a girl named Fan and it's Scrooge sister and then they talk about their father been more kind than he used to be.His sister died at giving birth, she only gave birth to one kid,Scrooges nephew. At the end of the chapter Scrooge saw a man with a white wig and he then knew it was old Fezziwig and at last there was younger Scrooge as a young man.
I think that this chapter(Stave) was really cool because this chapter reminded Scrooge of who he really is.The ghost showed him his past and Scrooge enjoyed it very much,he knew everything.I think that Scrooge doesn't get along with his nephew because he may blame him for his sister's death.Scrooge sister was really nice and she wa the nicest person Scrooge has ever meet.Fan died after she gave birth to Fred,Scrooge was also a very lonely boy and this could explain his future self.Like maybe this is why he wants to be alone with no ones company, what do you think about this chapter.
Adrian, I agree with your reasoning that this chapter was good. I like that Scrooge is beginning to regret his evil ways towards his remaining family, co-workers, and bystanders who would even try to speak to him. Like you I am beginning to see why Scrooge is acting so bad: he was so neglected by his parents and peers, and the only person he had loved was his sister, Fan, who died, and he blames fred for his loss. I am beginning to see Scrooge in a new light, and I think the book and the play we saw at the Guthrie are so similar in storytelling and plot.
